A white knight hacker. A former Wall Street trader. An email that would change two people’s lives forever. Our origin story is undoubtedly a unique one and a tale that has influenced both the type of company we have evolved into as well as our approach to software development and working with clients. We are proud to be celebrating our 10th anniversary as a software development agency and outstaffing company that builds powerhouse tech teams for companies in need of innovative software solutions. Since our early days as a 3-man outfit, we have grown to 65+ team members across three international offices in San Francisco and Eastern Europe.
The journey to get where we are today has been one full of dedication, passion, and teamwork. We have been so lucky to have found amazing clients who are truly disrupting their industries, whether it’s our longtime friends, eLearning Brothers, who now host the largest library of eLearning and online training assets in the entire world, or MadeIn, one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer premium cookware brands in the U.S.
Ten years of growth and innovation haven’t just been client-focused, however. Our incredible team of software engineers has also shed their share of blood, sweat, and tears in the pursuit of open-source excellence. Just this year, we released Cycle ORM, a data mapper ORM that works with our very own PHP framework, Spiral, and popular application server, RoadRunner.
As we look ahead to the next ten years, we are excited for the opportunities that await. In 2020, we plan to offer near-shore services for the first time with a fourth development office, this one in Latin America. And after that, who knows, world dominance?
We wouldn’t be the software development company that we are today without the tireless support, energy, commitment, wit, and intelligence of our wonderful developers, designers, marketers, project managers, and software testers. So THANK YOU to our fantastic team and CHEERS to 10 more years!
